"Do you only shoot in black and white?" is a question I hear often. The answer is simple: No! While I do shoot in color quite frequently, I’m currently in a phase where I prefer monochrome. Black and white allows me to strip away distractions, focusing purely on light, shadow, and emotion. That said, I believe every scene has its own story to tell—sometimes it’s best told in vibrant color, and other times, in the timeless elegance of black and white. A local communist party member engages in conversation with a nun in Venice.
