Discover Milan Through the Lens: New Flipboard Magazine & Upcoming Photography Workshops

I’m excited to announce the launch of my latest Flipboard magazine, dedicated to the city that shaped both my education and my photography—Milan.

Before Venice, Budapest, and far-off assignments, Milan was where it all began. I studied Law here, walked these streets as a student, and picked up a camera for the first time. That first roll of film developed just off Corso di Porta Ticinese… the rest, as they say, is history.

Now, years later, I’m returning to Milan with a new project: a curated Flipboard magazine and a series of exclusive photography workshops starting in autumn and winter 2025.

Why Milan?

Because Milan is more than the Duomo and Fashion Week. It’s raw and refined, foggy in the mornings and buzzing at night. It’s a city of trams and towers, of brutalist courtyards and hidden gardens. And for me, it’s a city of firsts—the place where I first saw the world differently, through a lens.

This new magazine will reflect all of that—photo essays, street stories, visual inspiration, and lesser-known corners of the city.

Upcoming Milan Photography Workshops

Launching later this year, my private photography workshops in Milan will offer:

  • Street & documentary photography in areas like Brera, Navigli, Isola, and Porta Venezia

  • Architectural geometry shoots around Gae Aulenti, the Triennale, and CityLife

  • Evening and low-light sessions, taking advantage of Milan’s cinematic atmosphere

  • A Black & White masterclass, drawing from my documentary work and years of Leica shooting

Whether you’re a beginner with a phone or a seasoned photographer with a Leica Monochrom, these workshops will be tailored to you—1-to-1 or in small private groups.
